Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Maggie began studying music at a young age and quickly developed a love for songwriting. She honed her skills at both Boyer College at Temple University and Kutztown University, where she studied music theory, composition, and performance and performed in the big band.
Maggie’s performances have taken her from the stages of Philadelphia and New York to the vibrant music scene of New Orleans and the charming town of Bethlehem. She has shared her music with audiences at iconic venues such as the Ideal Glass Studios, Pianos, and the Gene Frankel Theater in New York City, as well as World Cafe Live and Bob and Barbara’s in Philadelphia.
With a sound that draws inspiration from jazz, rock, and blues, Maggie’s music is both authentic and emotionally charged. Her lyrics are raw and honest, painting vivid pictures of life’s struggles and triumphs.
